Her Journey to a Successful Profile on 4based
Melanie is 23 years old, comes from Vienna, and quickly realized that she wasn’t meant to spend her life in “shift-schedule mode.” Instead of working in childcare, she now creates perfectly staged photo shoots; instead of crafting with scissors, she focuses on content strategy. Sounds like a radical change? It is—but one made with style, intelligence, and a healthy dose of self-confidence.
She shared with Creatormagazin how she works, how fans find her profile on 4based, and what matters most to her when it comes to communication and content production.
Melanie, you’re only 23 and originally worked as a childcare educator. Now you’re active in a completely different field. What was the defining moment when you said to yourself, “I’m making a complete switch and becoming a full-time adult content creator”?

I don’t think there was one specific moment—rather, there were several small ones. I realized that in my old job, I was functioning, but not really living. At the same time, I saw how much potential social media has, especially if you’re willing to present yourself honestly, femininely, and confidently.
The turning point was simply asking myself: Why should I trade my time for a fixed salary when I can build something of my own using my energy, charisma, and creativity?
From that moment on, there was no turning back.
You’re from beautiful Vienna, but you travel a lot. Where do you most enjoy working?
I love Vienna, but honestly, I enjoy working wherever I feel free. That could be a villa in Dubai, a hotel in Miami, or simply a beautiful balcony somewhere in Southern Europe.
For me, the best part of my job is that I’m not tied to one place. When the environment feels right, it immediately shows in the content.
You’re mainly active on 4based. What exactly convinced you about this platform?
Quite simply: the opportunities. For me, 4based isn’t just a platform—it’s a system that’s genuinely designed to help creators grow.
You have much more control, better monetization options, and above all, a community that is truly engaged. It feels less like a mass-market platform and more like building genuine connections with fans.
You’ve already built a large fan base there. Do you spend a lot of time on social media promoting your 4based profile?
Yes, but not in the way most people think.
I don’t just post content and hope people click. I intentionally build anticipation—a little mystery, a little curiosity. For me, social media is more of a teaser. The real experience happens on 4based.
What does a typical content production day look like for you? How much time do you currently invest each week in shooting, editing, and community management?
A typical day is a mix of structure and creativity.
I plan my shoots in advance, paying attention to locations, outfits, and lighting—it’s almost like producing a small film project. Then comes the editing, which often takes longer than the shoot itself.
Overall, I easily invest 40–50 hours per week. Many people completely underestimate this—it’s not just “taking a few pictures”; it’s a real business.
You’ve probably experienced many different fan reactions. Which experience with a fan on 4based touched or surprised you the most?
What surprised me the most is how personal it can become. At one point, a fan told me that my content had helped him get through a very difficult phase in his life.
That was the moment I realized it’s not just about photos or videos. It’s also about how you make people feel.
Many creators talk about burnout. How do you manage to work full-time in such an intense industry at 23 while still protecting your mental and physical health? What do you do to maintain balance?
Honestly, if you don’t set boundaries, things will go wrong.
I have fixed working hours—and equally fixed times when I’m completely offline. Spending time with my family is extremely important to me, as are traveling and simply doing nothing from time to time.
You have to learn to take yourself just as seriously as your business.
If you could give three specific pieces of advice to a young woman considering entering the online adult industry, what would they be?
- Do it consciously, not out of desperation.
- Build a brand, not just an account.
- Choose the right platform.
Many people completely underestimate point three. The platform often determines whether you grow in the long term or simply disappear. For me, 4based is currently the platform that makes the difference.
What is currently your absolute favorite content format on 4based (e.g., photos, standard videos, custom videos), and why do you enjoy it so much?
Custom content, without a doubt.
It creates a completely different dynamic because it’s much more personal. You respond directly to people’s wishes while also bringing your own creativity into the process.
It feels less like “content” and more like an experience.
Looking ahead: Where do you see yourself in two years? What do you want to expand or change?
I want to build my own little empire.
More reach, more international presence, and above all, a stronger brand—not only as a creator but also as an entrepreneur.
And I believe that platforms like 4based will play a major role in that journey because they genuinely enable creators to become independent.
Melanie, thank you very much for this insightful conversation and for your openness.
