TES Prague 2023: Follow-up report

Nearly 1600 business professionals from the affiliate, media buyer, content, publisher and traffic sectors made their way to Prague in September to network in the best sense of the word.

The European Summit has long been a classic among industry events. Four days at the Vienna House by Wyndham Diplomat hotel once again gave all participants the chance to advance their business.

The various elements of the show have proven themselves time and time again.

In the “Meet-Market” the exhibitors presented their novelties and found lively interest among the numerous visitors. Despite the sometimes quite high noise level, constructive conversations and deals were often initiated here and then continued in quieter lounges or in the “beer garden” in front of the hotel.

Another highlight were the numerous seminars and lectures, where everyone could inform themselves in detail about the new and important trends in the market and also discuss them with experts. In recent years, among other things, SEO has always been one of the dominant topics. This was also discussed in detail in September 2023, but one thing was striking: the topic of AI played a decisive role in at least every second presentation. Artificial intelligence is apparently in the process of changing the market massively and sustainably in adult, dating and traffic as well. All the better that the organizers have taken this circumstance into account.

The mostly well-attended presentations often revolved around topics such as AI, SEO or traffic. But other aspects also came up, such as optimizing communication and efficiently following up on contacts after the event.

Quieter conversations were possible in the actual, very spacious lobby of the hotel. Here, comfortable seating groups were arranged for the sponsors and their interested parties, which allowed for the efficient exchange of information.

Space for productive discussions: The lobby of the hotel was converted into a meeting point, exhibitors could present their innovations in a pleasant ambience.

In addition, as always, there was an extensive supporting program. Among other things, this included a boat trip on the Vltava River, evening programs in trendy clubs in the center of Prague, or even a poker tournament at the hotel.

The “Oktoberfest” featured musical interludes in keeping with the theme, and food and drink were also provided. Instead of Bavarian beer, there was Czech beer, which was not at all less well received by the participants – on the contrary.

Apart from that, physical well-being was guaranteed at practically every time, be it in the form of drinks or freshly prepared Czech specialties.

Overall, it was particularly noticeable that the increasingly rapid changes in the market were reflected in all their facets at The European Summit. Once again, TES lived up to its reputation as the central event for the adult, dating, affiliate and traffic business.

The next date has also already been set: the first TES 2024 will take place in Cascais near Lisbon from February 24 – 27, 2024.
