In the 1980s, porn films could still achieve cult status. In one exceptional case, this was achieved by a radio advert promoting a new production. Original sound bite:

‘Hello dear porn lovers… listen up! Extase-Film presents its new smash hit entitled: The One with the Red Collar. This film is an explosive porn atomic bomb…’

With its powerful beat, the advert achieved a level of popularity that has endured to this day, at least among the older generation. Marcus Finger and Jürgen Kadel picked up on this in 2007 and produced a track that was popular in many clubs and also at the Love Parade.

Cult song revival with Mika Nox

Now Kadel, alias ‘Honk!’, is releasing an exciting new version. With ‘ROTES HALSBAND’ (Red Collar), he brings the song’s concept into the year 2026 – more modern, more direct and deliberately reinterpreted. At his side: Mika Nox, three-time VENUS Award winner, creator star and, for the first time, the voice of the hook on an official party release. The song combines escalation, techno and EDM influences, Ballermann energy and provocative self-irony. HONK, known for years as a fixture at Ballermann, remains true to his style: musically open, cross-genre and deliberately positioned between the club, festival and party worlds. The track is being released under the HONK label.
