Many know Mia Minou as a well-known erotic model, but now she has found a new role: on 1 November, she will succeed Liz Tyrious, who was editor-in-chief of the erotic magazine ‘Hot Slate’ for two years. There was much deliberation about who would be suitable for the job and who would be able to take the magazine
to the next level. Hot Slate magazine has become an established name in the adult entertainment print sector.
It is published four times a year and remains the leading
free erotic magazine in Germany. The decision was made internally in June: Mia Minou
will be the new editor-in-chief.

“We wanted to enable her to start her new job without media attention. After all, she was able to observe Liz at work during the last edition. It’s beneficial to be able to concentrate solely on the new environment and core tasks initially. She accomplished this task with flying colours. Then, as is well known, she also took on the role of chief reporter for the online magazine GERMAN ADULT NEWS at Venus, which she performed exceptionally well.”

Journalistic experience including own podcast

Mia Minou already has journalistic experience, including in her own podcast, ‘Kein Mädchen mehr’ (No Longer a Girl). In it, Mia talks about life in the big city, feelings and social grey areas – often with reference to the adult industry, of course.

“There was so much coming at me at once. It’s something completely new, even though I’m no stranger to journalism in general. But until now, I’ve always done things on my own, and now I have to lead a team, which is something else entirely. But it’s a lot of fun, and I have a great team that supports me actively. So I’m looking forward to the first issue, which will be published in January. My fans can also look forward to me continuing to be active in the erotic business, and there will be exclusive content from me in the magazine from time to time.”

The upcoming issue 13 will be published in January and will feature many exciting topics. The magazine will continue to be distributed by VPS-Film-Entertainment GmbH and will be available at industry events, in brick-and-mortar shops (sex shops) and at the Berlin Film Exchange, among other places.
