CASZIN is launching the big OnlyFans guide for you today. Here you can find out everything you need to be successful on what is probably the world’s largest platform for online eroticism. We start with the basics and the first steps, but with years of experience we give you tips from the very beginning that even die-hard professionals can use straight away. Gradually, we go into more and more depth so that you too can become a real OnlyFans pro.
Part 1 gives you a general overview and tells you how to present yourself to users, how to make your profile better known and which means and tools you can use to do this. CASZIN will publish further parts in loose succession and let you in on the secrets to making really good and, above all, lasting sales on OnlyFans.
OnlyFans has an almost fairytale turnover of around half a billion dollars – month after month. This puts it far ahead of all other fan portals. And for many, it gives the impression that anyone can make good money there right from the start. Unfortunately, the reality is quite different.
OnlyFans is not an amateur portal
The downright gigantic success of some creators on OnlyFans naturally gives many others – amateurs, camgirls, etc. – the idea of wanting a slice of the really huge cake. – naturally give many others – amateurs, camgirls, etc. – the idea of wanting a slice of the huge cake. But this quickly turns out to be much more difficult than expected. In contrast to cam or amateur portals, for example, once you have set up a beautiful profile you are initially one thing: completely invisible. It can be compared to registering and filling a brand new web address (URL). What happens? Right, absolutely nothing! Nobody finds your page or your profile. After a while, Google and other search engines may generate a little traffic “by themselves”. With OnlyFans this happens – especially after the new legal tightening for search engines – almost not at all. You will certainly not get real fans who are willing to pay for content. But where do the huge sales and the OnlyFans income millionaires come from?
Only those who are already known can earn money on OnlyFans right from the start
Virtually all of the well-known “OnlyFans stars” initially gained their popularity on other platforms before their career on the fan portal. These can be social media classics such as Instagram, Twitter, gameplay platforms such as Twitch or comparatively new social media tools such as TikTok or SnapChat. Anyone who already has a large number of fans or followers here has a good chance of finally monetising this fan base on OnlyFans.
Self-promotion on social media: Yes, but ….
But this is where the first pitfalls await. For example, you can of course enter a link to another of your own “social media profiles” in your Instagram profile. But be careful: if this link leads directly to an OnlyFans profile, this can have serious consequences, including the simple and unannounced deletion of the linking Instagram profile. No complaint will help here: such a complaint is also completely impossible, because in this extreme case the corresponding Instagram profile simply ceases to exist from one day to the next. It doesn’t help if, as a new OnlyFans user, you have to go through an elaborate age verification system (AVS) before you can enjoy any content. Many creators make do by linking from the Instagram profile via a link tree, for example, only indirectly and after a warning about “adult content”. However, there is no 100% guarantee that portal operator Meta will accept this. The conditions are ultimately buried deep in the terms and conditions in extremely elastic rubber clauses. And Meta ultimately interprets these as it wishes – the company simply has the “longer lever”. However, there seems to have been a slight relaxation in recent months. At least you can see more and more Instagram profiles linking directly to OnlyFans.Interestingly, these are often profiles from creators outside of Germany, such as from the Czech Republic or Austria. In these countries, the issue of youth protection is known to be handled far less hysterically than in Germany. Apparently, Meta’s censors have slightly different guidelines from country to country.
The switch from amateurs and camgirls to OnlyFans
Anyone who already has a well-known name on portals such as Visit-X, MyDirtyHobby, 777live, Big7 or Amateurcommunity could get the idea of redirecting their – or mostly their – fans from there to the OnlyFans portal. After all, the payout is much better there – for very specific reasons. First of all: we can only warn against “redirecting” your own fans in this way. These portals will not tolerate this either – even if the protection of minors is not the decisive factor in this case. The cause lies elsewhere: these portals (and their affiliate partners) invest time and money so that potential buyers find their way to you and therefore also to your profile. They therefore rightly prohibit you from diverting this so-called traffic to your Only Fans page in order to achieve a higher commission there and, among other things, to leave the affiliates empty-handed.
Your own website as a point of contact
If you are serious about your career as a creator, camgirl or amateur, it always makes sense to have your own website. This allows you to communicate directly with your customers and make your brand or artist name better known. This will also help you to make your OnlyFans profile better known and send your fans there. If you have chosen a memorable and unique stage name, there is a good chance that your fans will be able to find you quickly via Google. In this way, you can utilise the fame you have gained on amateur portals without coming into conflict with the respective operators.
The same applies here: be careful with links to adult pages
It goes without saying that you only show content on your website that is not too revealing anyway. After all, this is what customers are supposed to pay for on portals such as OnlyFans. However, the next pitfall is already waiting here: Internet hosters based in Germany in particular like to prohibit any links to adult sites in their terms and conditions. And here, too, they are not impressed by an upstream age verification system or are not swayed from their line. The logical consequence is to resort to hosters abroad. Of course, you should also check the ABGs there or, even better, enquire in advance whether the corresponding links are permitted. Alternatively, you can go straight to a hoster specialising in adult content.
Your profile on OnlyFans
Once your fans have found you on OnlyFans, the first hurdle has already been overcome. But how do you get them to pay for your content? First of all, you have to make your profile attractive. Unfortunately, you have far fewer options for this on OnlyFans than on most amateur or cam portals. That’s why it’s all the more important not to make any mistakes here. Firstly, the banner at the top is the first eye-catcher. Because of the landscape format, you need to find – or take – a suitable photo of yourself that shows as much of you as possible, just like anywhere else. “As much as possible” does not mean “as open-hearted as possible”, but rather: waste as little of the already limited space as possible with backgrounds etc. For example, you can also mount three portrait format photos next to each other to create a nice title in wide format for your profile. You can also add a slogan or a short motto as text on the photo to get your message across. It’s best to choose a somewhat unusual but easy-to-read font and striking colours. Important: you must always remain within the “FSK12” guidelines throughout your profile so as not to come into conflict with OnlyFans. So maximum “Swimsuit-Conent”, even topless would be too much.
In the “short info” in your profile, you introduce yourself. “Short” says it all: don’t make the text too long, then it won’t be read anyway. It’s like an advertising text: less is more! That doesn’t make the whole thing easy, so you should make a special effort here to make potential customers curious about you. But don’t come across as too professional, especially customers from Germany often expect the “hot girl next door”. Then there are numerous other fields where you can enter further information. OnlyFans also includes a link to your website. This is permissible here, as you brought the customers to your profile yourself and not, for example, affiliates. However, only enter your own website in this field and not links to your profiles on other sites. OnlyFans won’t let that pass either. If you wish, you can also enter your Amazon wish list so that your fans can also give you gifts in this way.
Greet your subscribers
Your welcome message is the next important point. Every new subscriber to your profile will receive it automatically. To enter it, go to “Settings” and then to “Chats”. There you should enter a picture of yourself that is as attractive as possible, which also arouses curiosity but does not show too much. You can now go into a little more detail in the text and tell us more about yourself and your activities, for example. Describe what you do on OnlyFans and whether you offer dickrating, sexting or custom videos, for example. Make users curious about you. Ask them to take action, for example to write to you about what they would like to see from you.
