In the latest episode of the “Dirty Talk” podcast, student Aneta shares some interesting background information about VENUS, but also reveals some insider secrets and gives listeners a glimpse into everyday life in the world of cam and video production. After all, she has been in the cam business for 15 years and can look back on a wealth of experience.
Aneta begins by talking about the trade fair, how she made a name for herself as the “mom at the booth” amid high heels, long days, and countless conversations. She helps new colleagues with preparation, tips, and emergency kits containing spare shoes, painkillers, blister plasters, and throat lozenges. At the same time, she manages to remain a bundle of energy despite stress and little sleep.
“At VENUS, I’m the mom at the booth. If someone has a headache, I have pills. If someone has blisters, I have bandages. And if someone is nervous, I make a silly joke to lighten the mood.”
Even outside of the trade fair, Aneta has some tips for current and future colleagues: “In this job, you have to take care of yourself. I always need my eight hours of sleep. If you’re disciplined, you’ll definitely stay fit and motivated.”
Another important issue is her workplace, i.e. her own cam studio: “I used to broadcast from my sofa or bed quite often. But now, due to my age, I sometimes suffer from back pain. That means I need a comfortable chair. Of course, it also has to be the right height so that viewers can always see what they want to see. Lighting is also important to set the scene properly.
Social media? Yes, but…
Aneta has only been active on social media for about three years. She says herself that she avoided it for a long time: “I still don’t want to mix my private life with the adult industry. But for Venus, for example, I make a video in the morning with my outfit.” Otherwise, she now manages her posts very professionally. She posts about more private experiences or trips with a day’s delay, partly to prevent the issue of stalking from arising in the first place.
Aneta also chats very openly about some of her experiences on set. These include some very entertaining anecdotes, such as when she had to send away a potential co-star.
The downside of the podcast is that the audio quality is sometimes not ideal on the host’s end. Although it is usually understandable, brief dropouts unfortunately sometimes detract from the listening experience.
Nevertheless, it is definitely worth listening to learn more about student Aneta, her experiences at VENUS and elsewhere.
