“Sexting” is one of the revenue generators on fan portals and elsewhere. But what exactly is it? Wikipedia defines it as follows: “Sexting is the behaviour of sending sexually explicit messages, photos or videos via mobile messaging. In a narrower sense, it is dirty talk for mutual arousal.” This is basically correct, but in the everyday life of a creator there is a lot more to it.
Anyone who has newly registered their profile on OnlyFans will sooner or later see the line: “Do you also do sexting and what does it cost you?” But don’t worry. In fact, it’s one of the most lucrative products for creators.
The typical process is as follows: You and your customer masturbate simultaneously in dialogue for a defined period of time and motivate each other in the process – at least in his mind. You should offer an authentic process for this. You therefore need a photo series that credibly shows the various steps from “dressed” to action with fingers or toys. The photos should give the impression that they have just been taken. If you manage your profile yourself, you can of course do this exactly the same way the first time. The next time, or if you are working with an agency, you will already have the relevant photos ready. Important: make sure you take the photos yourself and authentically, with detailed views etc. The light etc. does not have to be perfect – on the contrary, that would even be detrimental. It must always be credible that you have just taken the photos and are sending them to the client.
The sexting process
If a customer approaches you about sexting or perhaps you offer it in a mass mail to your fans and they get in touch, agree on the duration, price and procedure right at the start. Usually about 15 minutes, in exceptional cases up to 30 minutes. The usual price is around 30 dollars. If you do it too cheaply, you will spoil the prices and sell yourself short. The customer will also ask what he is getting in return. For example, offer him around 10 “authentically” produced photos including the chat in which you describe how you are doing it yourself. Sometimes it can also be helpful to send a (short) video during the conversation. This will speed up the time for you, as the customer will be busy for a while. You should also have pre-produced significantly more than the 10 photos described. After all, it can happen that the customer is still really hot after the 15 minutes and will book another 15 minutes with you. Important: always ask for payment in advance, only then does the sexting start. With OnlyFans this is a tip in the corresponding amount.
Beware of free chatters
Sooner or later you will come across “specialists” who want to know in detail what will happen during the course of a sexting session. Such a user never intends to spend a single cent on you for sexting. Rather, they take advantage of your good nature and openness in advance to get off on it and are done and gone before you’ve had a chance to find out about the whole thing. Recognising this type as early as possible requires experience and knowledge of human nature. An important criterion here is the question of whether the prospective customer has ever purchased paid content from you before. This would of course be a positive criterion. If he is completely unknown to you or perhaps even newly registered, you should be suspicious. In this case, after a brief (!) description of the sexting, you should insist – politely but firmly – that he should now please send you the tip, after which it can go straight to the point for the defined period of time. If he persistently refuses to pay, you should point out to him that he is welcome to continue texting with you after a tip. If that doesn’t work either, you should ignore him for the time being. If he still wants to steal your time with pointless dialogue, the only last resort is to block him.
