Hailee Summer is one of Germany’s top creators. She has built up a large and loyal fan base, to which she is passionately dedicated. She revealed exclusively to CASZIN how she successfully sells content, generates traffic for her profiles and organises her everyday life at the same time.
Bernhard Bradatsch:
A while ago, you decided to give up your “regular job” and work exclusively as a content creator. Of course, this always involves a certain amount of risk. Was it a difficult decision for you, or more of a liberating move?

For me, it was actually a very clear decision. Since I had already been self-employed before, I knew exactly what it meant to work as an entrepreneur. I had been working as a content creator on the side for a long time, which allowed me to build a stable foundation step by step. I only gave up my previous job when I started earning more from content than from my main job—from that point on, the change was the logical next step.

Bernhard Bradatsch:
You work a lot on fan platforms, especially 4based. What made you decide to focus on this platform in particular?
I was impressed with 4based right from the start because the platform has an incredibly strong presence in the German market. Everything is super clear and easy to use—not just for me as a creator, but also for users. Plus, there are lots of different payment options, which makes it even easier for fans to access. I’d especially like to highlight the support: it’s really top-notch! You can immediately tell that the team takes creators seriously, finds solutions quickly, and even offers strategic support when needed. It’s this combination that makes 4based so exciting for me.

Bernhard Bradatsch:
You are originally from the USA, but you have been in Germany for a long time and speak perfect German. At 4based, you can decide whether to focus on German, English, or Spanish-speaking users. How did you make your decision?

Yes, that’s right—I’m originally from the USA. I run another platform entirely in English, which is precisely why I found it particularly exciting to run 4based exclusively in German. The community there is predominantly German-speaking, which is a great fit.
Bernhard Bradatsch:
One problem with fan platforms is always getting enough traffic to your own profile and thus subscribers or content buyers. The magic word here is, of course, social media. Many people focus primarily on Instagram and X. You work a lot on Reddit. Doesn’t that take a lot of time?
Of course, I also use Instagram and X, but my main focus is clearly on Reddit. You have to really understand the platform first, but once you’ve figured it out, it opens up huge possibilities. Sure, it’s still time-consuming—but that’s where my way of working comes in: I take a very structured approach, plan my content and processes carefully, and can therefore use my time extremely efficiently. That makes all the difference for me.

Bernhard Bradatsch:
Keyword: custom content. For many, production based on customer requirements plays a decisive role and is in high demand among users. Is that also the case for you?

Yes, definitely—custom content is my absolute favorite thing to do, and it’s what people ask me for most. I love reinventing myself and taking on unusual requests or small challenges. Some of my fans even write me entire scripts—and that’s what makes it so much fun. The community contributes their own ideas, and I get to bring them to life creatively.
Bernhard Bradatsch:
A while ago, you announced that you also wanted to offer livestreams with a webcam. How has that developed for you?
Yes, livestreaming has been important to me for quite some time. I’ve now implemented it and offer regular streams. At first, it was a small step out of my comfort zone, of course, but that’s exactly what makes it exciting. Direct interaction with fans is simply something very special – much more personal and spontaneous than any post or video. You get immediate feedback and experience the community in real time, which is a real added value for me.

Bernhard Bradatsch:
You have to invest a lot of time in creating content, maintaining your profiles, communicating with fans, etc. You say yourself that you are a perfectionist. And you also represent your fans at events, now at Venus 2025. On top of that, you also have a family. How do you juggle it all?

It’s true, it’s really a lot – producing content, maintaining profiles, constantly interacting with my fans, and then there are events like Venus 2025. And yes, I admit it: I’m a perfectionist. But that’s exactly what helps me, because it means I work in a very structured way and plan my time consciously. My family always comes first – that’s incredibly important to me. Of course, it’s sometimes a balancing act, but I’ve found my own rhythm. What’s more, this job gives me all the freedom and financial opportunities I’ve always wanted. And honestly, when you do something with passion and have the right people by your side, you automatically grow beyond yourself.
