Controversy at Switzerland’s largest erotic fair: Extasia (December 5-7, 2025) is currently taking place in Basel, but the cancellations of the two performers Mia May and Jenny Stella are casting a shadow over the event. This was preceded by a dispute with Jenny Stella, who was booked as an ambassador. She was supposed to do several shows on stage, but did not receive any information about who she was supposed to perform with. Jenny Stella: “A live show with someone I have no connection with? Sorry, but that’s not possible for me. I’m not going to Extasia, and I communicated that in good time.“ According to Jenny, the organizer ‘Pussycat’ responded: ”You’re here to work, not to make friends.” But the adult industry in particular thrives on openness and solidarity. Such a statement does not fit in with this image at all. According to Jenny, there were further disrespectful comments from the organizers.
Mia May also reported unpleasant experiences. Mia is one of Switzerland’s top stars and has always been well represented at Extasia, even with her own booth. Now she has also canceled her participation: “Dear Pussycat, you are making a serious mistake. You can buy Extasia, but you can’t buy us. We don’t expect much from you, just a little respect. Respect for us, respect for our fans, and respect for Switzerland. Nothing more, but anything less is also unacceptable.”
Organizer Pussycat (photo) was often represented as an adult film star at the Swiss trade fair and is also internationally successful. She has already received the Venus Award for “Best International Showgirl,” among other awards such as “Best Director” and “Best Asian Actress.” Now, together with her long-time companion “Leyluken,” she has taken over the organization of Extasia. The start could have been less bumpy.
Let’s hope that the fair will still be a great success with a high fun factor for the rest of us—the range of products on offer is certainly extensive. A follow-up report will be published shortly in CASZIN, and we will also try to get a statement from Pussycat.
