The adult entertainment industry is mourning the loss of one of its most influential, if low-key, figures: Leonid ‘Leo’ Radvinsky, the majority shareholder and driving force behind OnlyFans, has passed away at the age of just 43. The platform confirmed in a brief statement on Monday: ‘We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family asks that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”

Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur who grew up in Chicago, was not one for grand gestures. No red carpets, no scandalous interviews, no public parties. Instead, a computer, an empire and a business model that has radically changed the way we consume and produce pleasure. Radvinsky, who was born in Ukraine and grew up in the US, lived a secluded life in Florida and was reportedly still in concrete negotiations regarding a partial sale of the platform shortly before his death. Rumours that OnlyFans was to be sold had already been circulating last year (CASZIN reported). Forbes most recently estimated his fortune at around 4.7 billion US dollars. In 2024, OnlyFans generated around 1.4 billion dollars in revenue, whilst users spent a total of over 7 billion dollars on content. Radvinsky is said to have paid himself billions in dividends in recent years alone.
