Imagine this: The adult entertainment industry is eagerly awaiting the big breakthrough in artificial intelligence—and OpenAI, the tech genius from Silicon Valley, is finally supposed to deliver. For months, the promising buzzword “Adult Mode” has been haunting forums, Twitter threads, and the wildest dreams of digital content creators. But what’s actually happening? OpenAI is fumbling around like a teenager on their first time. Even the announcement caught people’s attention: “We are working on a safe, responsible approach to adult content.” (CASZIN reported) Translated, that means: The AI can do anything, as long as it’s about as racy as chamomile tea. While the industry hopes for dirty talk, role-playing, and real innovations, OpenAI delivers—drumroll—“Adult Mode Light.” That’s about as exciting as collecting towels at a swingers’ club and inviting everyone to tea time.
“Wash my fur, but don’t get me wet”
In this case, that can be taken quite literally. At least, that’s how the latest report on the subject in the “Wall Street Journal” should be understood. According to the report, the much-anticipated “Adult Mode” will be only “smutty” and by no means “explicit.” And even this feature is apparently facing multiple delays. The move toward adult content was originally announced for December 2025, but was then postponed to the first quarter of 2026 (CASZIN reported). And this deadline will likely not be met either. Whether the wait will be worth it is highly doubtful. Meanwhile, the adult industry continues to work with GROK, among others, which is known for not mincing words and can certainly be put to productive use with “NSFW” texts.
