Industry insiders had suspected it for some time \u2013 today there is sad certainty: The Exquisit Fair announced for April 2027 will not take place. The organisers announced this today. CASZIN accompanied the fair in the past as media partner. It was held for the first time in May 2025 in Chemnitz, and this year in Halle a.d.S. (CASZIN reported: https:\/\/caszin.com\/exquisit-messe-2026-in-halle-saale-ein-voller-erfolg-fuer-die-deutsche-online-erotikszene\/<\/a>). Although the response was generally positive, recently there had been voices from previous exhibitors questioning their commitment for the following year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the organisers, the lack of willingness to cooperate on the part of the cities in which the fair had been held so far and the apparently enormous rental fees demanded for the halls also played a role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Organisers\u2019 Explanation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In their statement released today, the organisers explain the background in detail. \u201cAfter intensive discussions and careful consideration, we have decided not to continue the previous form of the Exquisit Fair,\u201d it says. The fair had been built up with a great deal of heart, commitment and personal effort. The goal had always been to create a special event that combines lifestyle, erotica, art, tattoo, scene and gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the course of the previous editions, however, the organisational and economic framework conditions had changed significantly. In particular, the costs for hall rental as well as for technology, security, staff, logistics, advertising and other necessary services had risen sharply. To make matters worse, both in Chemnitz and in Halle (Saale) the organisers had been confronted with additional hurdles and difficulties on the part of the respective cities. These circumstances had further complicated the organisation and staging of the events and caused additional effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe financial and organisational effort as well as the associated risk have thereby become considerably greater. Under these conditions, continuing with the previous concept is no longer economically viable for us,\u201d the organisers continue. They therefore deliberately draw a line under the previous form of the Exquisit Fair, \u201cinstead of staging an event behind which we can no longer stand one hundred percent.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Further Fairs in the German-Speaking Region<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Of course, the cancellation of the Exquisit Fair does not mean the end of opportunities to attend high-quality industry events in the German-speaking region. Naturally, in addition to the leading industry fair VENUS in Berlin, which will take place shortly (22 to 25 October 2026), there are further interesting fairs for the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXTASIA Zurich \u2013 Media Partner CASZIN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In December there is EXTASIA in Zurich<\/a>, of which CASZIN is the official media partner and for which around 10,000 visitors are expected. Switzerland\u2019s largest and best-known adult entertainment fair will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026. Since 2001 the events have welcomed a total of over 200,000 visitors and more than 1,000 international stars. CASZIN and EXTASIA have just renewed their media partnership \u2013 a collaboration that builds on earlier cooperations and is intended to make the anniversary year particularly visible. Characteristic is a premium experience with a shopping area, continuous show programme, Fetish & BDSM Village, Swinger Area and meet-and-greet opportunities. Adult Fairs in Austria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Interesting fairs are also held in Austria, namely in Wels, Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz. The events of the \u201cErotik + Fetischmesse\u201d series (organiser Fa. Liendl) are regarded as Austria\u2019s largest and most exclusive adult fairs on an international tour and, in addition to selected exhibitors covering the entire adult market, offer numerous live shows.
